Heritage Touring

A tour that will allow you to go through all the hard work the pionneers went through during the 18th and 19th centuries. Enjoy the numerous scenic points and learn the history of Labelle. At each tour's stages, on a nameplate, you can learn the meaning of some reference point and some street names. The Heritage tour is a very nice way to take a walk in nature where you can find several checkpoints and rest areas. For more information, refer to the Tourist office.

Bicycle touring and roller blading

Cycling and rollerblading lovers will be pleased in Labelle. The linear circuit, passing over the Laurentians from St-Jérôme to Mont-Laurier on 200 km, make a stop in Labelle at kilometer 106. Labelle train station is the perfect place to rest, to take some time, to admire the landscape and have a great time. The bicycle circuit allows you to streak waterfalls, lakes and mountains. For more information, contact the Tourist office.

Horseback riding

Several beautiful checkpoints on lakes and mountains can be admired by way of back horse riding. The rivière Rouge Ranch and Labelle Vue offers you different rides for the cowboy in you.

Museums and shows

Labelle has a background marked for past centuries by logging industry, land clearing, all the pioneer's efforts of Curé-Labelle and the shutdown of le P'tit Train du Nord. You can re-live this era through a permanent exhibition at the railway station museum of Labelle and also by visiting the Chute aux Iroquois Historical Society.

Recreational navigation

The Lac Labelle, which is 14 km long, is one of the best place to navigate. Lac Joly and Lac Gervais are also nice sailing areas. For more information, contact the Tourist office.
