WHAT TO DO DURING THE SUMMER
Boutique
If you are a resident, seasonal
tourist, or just a passer by, a must-stop is the
boutique called
Savonnerie
Sensoriel. You will find
quality aromatherapy of essential oils and the
traditional art of soap making.
Swimming
Nothing is more refreshing than swimming into the clear waters of lakes and rivers of the region during summer! Labelle has even more to offer ; our indoor
pool is opened all year long. Refer to the schedule.
Camping
Many camping sites are available, whether you prefer caravaning, under regular tent or a change of scenery under a tepee. For bicycle touring,
Camping Labelle and la Rouge is peripheral to Le P'tit Train du Nord linear park while
Camping Chutes aux Iroquois is located on the easy shore of the rivière Rouge.
Canoe and kayak
Right in the city core of Labelle, the rivière Rouge waters are
more than appropriate for canoeing and kayaking fans. From
the Joseph-Commandant bridge, linking both right and left shores of Labelle,
we offer you almost 37 km of flat waterways. You can rent canoes and kayaks and also reserve a return trip shuttle at
Kayak Café,
Camping Chutes aux Iroquois
or at
Aventure Quatre Saisons.
Hunting
The natural region of Labelle is rich for hunting lovers. Virginia deer, small game and moose are some of the numerous species we encounter in the surroundings. You can enquire at the
Association de Chasse et Pêche. Moreover, Labelle is located less than 15 minutes of the wildlife refuge gateway of Réserve Faunique Rouge-Matawin.
