The Chute au Iroquois Historical Society museum has over
200 objects and relics on loan from people in town and are on display to show
you the history of Québec. You'll see an old style bath (100 years old), a
knitting machine dated in the 1850's, a washing machine with a wooden tub and
much more !
You can also watch a few video, on the
history of the Laurentiens, Father Labelle (the King of the
north), le P’tit Train du Nord (the railroad), the Indians,
and the jobs of old, etc.
The Society has more than 600 photographs, tieh the
history of Labelle, the region, including the Family trees of the founding
families. A date with history not to be missed !
